Auxiliar Professor in Sport Pedagogy at the Faculty of Sport of University of Porto (FADEUP). Permanent member of the Research Centre in Formation, Innovation and Intervention in Sport (CIFI2D), at FADEUP and collaborator of Research and Intervention Centre in Education (CIIE) at Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences from University of Porto. Teaches mainly in the Master of Teaching in Physical Education. Co-editor on the Journal of Sport Pedagogy & Research on Scientific Society of Sport Pedagogy. Main research interests are on professional competence, professional identity and pedagogical supervision in the training and professional development of teachers, mainly in community of practice environments. Her research interests also revolve around the development of the curriculum in Physical Education regarding learning and assessment.

Teaches in the Master of Teaching in Physical Education (Research in Education; Specific Sport Didactic – Basketball); Master in High Performance Training and Youth Training (Research Methodology) and Doctoral degree in Sport Sciences (Advanced Analysis of Qualitative Data). Member of Research Centre in Formation, Innovation and Intervention in Sport (CIFI2D), Research and Intervention Centre in Education (CIIE), and Research Network in Service-Learning in Physical Activity and Sport for Social Inclusion (RIADIS).

André Moura (0000-0003-2690-1029)
European PhD title in Sport Sciences by the University of Porto and University of Limerick. Previously, did an undergraduate in Physical Education and Sport and Master in teaching of Physical Education. Currently, he is working as Teaching Assistant at the Department of Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy in the University of Limerick in the undergraduate programmes of ‘Physical Education’ and ‘Sport Sciences’. Has (co)authorship in books chapters, national and international articles in peer-reviewed journals, and participations in congresses all over the world. His main research interests are Assessment, Curriculum and Pedagogy in school Physical Education and (Physical Education) Teacher Education, school placement and preservice teachers’ education, and curriculum models as Teaching Games for Understanding.
Daniel Barreira (0000-0003-2701-2303)
Auxiliar Professor in Sport Pedagogy at the Faculty of Sport of University of Porto (FADEUP) and coach of youth national teams (men) of Portuguese Soccer Federation. Worked as International Scout for Football Club Barcelona between 2014 and 2021. Has experience as assistant coach in the national team of Guinea-Bissau, first team of Boavista Football Club and Trofense Sports Club. Worked as coach, youth soccer coordinator and technical director of Vitoria Sport Club, Leixões Sport Club, Espinho Sport Club, Boavista Football Club, and internationally, in Goa Football Association (India). Collaborated as match analyst in the Portuguese, South Korea, and Macedonia Republic National Teams. Author of several books and academic papers in peer-reviewed journals, and courses trainer in Europe, North and South America. Got his undergraduate in Sport Sciences at FADEUP and PhD at the University of Porto and Barcelona.
João Ribeiro (0000-0002-7658-4837)
Invited Teacher at the Faculty of Sport of University of Porto and Auxiliar Professor at partial term at the Lusófona University of Porto. Member of Research Centre in Formation, Innovation and Intervention in Sport (CIFI2D). He is currently working with Porto TV Channel in the analysis of Soccer matches. Coach young soccer players in different age groups and of different clubs and soccer academies. His (co)author of several articles published in national and international journals with impact factor, and participates/d in funded scientific projects.
Luísa Estriga
Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sport of University of Porto and member of the CIFI2D. She is a former handball player and a qualified handball coach. Is currently a member of the University Handball Teachers group of the European Handball Federation (EHF), an expert for the International Handball Federation (IHF) and EHF, writing new methods and support materials for both IHF/EHF. Has lectured extensively in actions for teachers and coaches all over the world. Mafalda Silva (0000-0003-4075-6198)
Mafalda, 25-year hold PhD student, that has spent her last three years working directly in schools on essential themes in PE teaching, such as Assessment for Learning, Physical Fitness, Fitness for Life.
Recently, Mafalda got a PhD scholarship that allowed her to focus even more on her research as well as to develop a project entitled Enacting Fitness Education by involving students in Assessment for Learning and Technology use. She expects students to develop will, knowledge, abilities, and confidence to become responsible for their fitness and physically active for life.

Tânia Bastos (0000-0002-9974-408X)
PhD in Sport Sciences, Faculty of Sport – University of Porto (FADEUP) and in Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences – KU Leuven, Belgium, in the International Cotutelle agreement. She is assistant professor at the Faculty of Sport and member of the Centre of Research, Education, Innovation and Intervention in Sport (CIFI2D), University of Porto, Portugal. Her teaching and research interests focus the cross-disciplinary field of adapted physical activity. Bastos is member of the editorial board of Adapted Physical Activity Quarterly and Advances in Rehabilitation Journal.
Teresa Leandro
Undergraduate in Physical Education in 1987 by the Superior Institute of Physical Education in Porto. Master in Sport for Children and Youth (2009) and Doctoral degree in Sport Sciences (2017) by the Faculty of Sport of University of Porto (FADEUP) (2017). Physical Education teacher in basic and secondary education since 1985 (currently teaching in the school Dr. Manuel Gomes de Almeida – Espinho). Cooperant teacher at FADEUP since 1999. General Council President since 2008.
